The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 157 out of 333 passed the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila this April 2011 .
The members of the Board of Chemical Engineering are Engr. Ofelia V. Bulaong, Chairman; Engr. Francisco A. Arellano and Engr. Jeffrey G. Mijares , Members.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, May 16, 2011 but not later than May 20, 2011. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 3 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2011-2014. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 8:00 o’clock in the morning at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Roxas Boulevard, Manila. Registration for membership with the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers, Inc. (PICHE) will take place after registration as a professional with the Board and the Commission.

The performance of schools in the April 2011 Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m)“To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation” is as follows: (Any discrepancy in the report is not intentional on the part of the Commission, but rather due to miscoding of school codes by the examinees themselves. Concerned schools may write the Commission for correction.)
